My purchase isn't on my other device
The purchase opens the app on every iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in to the same Apple Account, usually without a tap. If one still shows the locked screen, check it uses the same Apple Account, then tap Restore Purchase.
- Check the Apple Account on that device. On iPhone and iPad it's at the top of Settings; on the Mac, in the App Store's account page. It has to be the account that bought the app.
- Open the app and wait a moment. A new device reads your purchase from the App Store as the app opens, and listens for it while it runs, so it usually opens on its own.
- Tap Restore Purchase. If it's still locked, Restore asks the App Store directly. "There is no Cutvey Teleprompter purchase on this Apple Account to restore" means this account didn't buy it.
Other reasons
- Family Sharing. The purchase isn't shared with family members; each Apple Account buys its own.
- Ask to Buy. "That purchase is waiting for approval" means a family organizer hasn't approved it yet. The app opens as soon as they do.
- A refund. A refunded purchase no longer counts.
- The App Store can't be reached. "The App Store could not be reached. Try again in a moment." Check the connection.
- The Watch. It has no purchase of its own. It follows the iPhone, and shows "Unlock on iPhone" until the iPhone app is open.
