Help / Drive it with a remote
Drive the prompter with a game controller
A paired game controller drives the prompter on a fixed map: A starts and stops, the right trigger scrolls while you hold it, the shoulders jump the speed and the D-pad sets speed and cues. The map can't be changed.
| Button | Command |
|---|---|
| A | Start or stop |
| Right trigger | Scroll while held, and stop when you let go |
| Right and left shoulder | Speed jump up and down, half a line a second |
| D-pad up and down | Faster and slower, a tenth of a line a second |
| D-pad right and left | Next cue and previous cue |
| Either thumbstick, up or down | Faster or slower, repeating while held |
Pair the controller with the device the way you would for any game. In the app's own words, the keys can be changed; the controller map is fixed. Other buttons do nothing.
If that didn't work
If the controller does nothing, check it's paired to the device that's prompting, not a joined remote. Write to us.
