Help / Read and scroll
Read the clocks: EST. LEFT and DRIFT
EST. ELAPSED and EST. LEFT are estimates worked out from where the scroll is and its current speed. DRIFT, shown only in timed mode, tells you whether you will finish early or late.
- Read EST. LEFT. How long the rest of the script takes at the current speed. Change the speed and it changes at once.
- Read DRIFT in timed mode. A plus figure such as +0:12 means you'll finish that much after your target; a minus figure means early. Within five seconds it reads ON TIME.
- Hide or show them. On the prompter's Reading line & screen page, under Screen, turn Show clocks on or off. It's on by default.
Jump to start resets the clocks. The Apple Watch shows EST. LEFT large and EST. ELAPSED small, and the browser remote shows both. In a rundown, ITEM and SHOW add how long this item and the whole show have been running.
If that didn't work
If EST. LEFT looks wrong, check the speed: it's always worked out at the speed you're running now. Write to us.
